Living In Foster City, We Have Much To Be Thankful For TodayLeave a comment »
Alex and I live in Foster City, which is one of the few cities, along with Belmont, here in San Mateo County to not see a big dip into the Buyer's Market according to Altos Research. Sure, it's dipped, but in comparison to most of the other cities we service, it's a healthier market. We are thankful to live in a country in relative safety and peace. We are thankful to have served some wonderful clients this year. We are most thankful for our wonderful family and look forward to sharing a meal together, something we can't do very often anymore. We wish you, and yours, a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. http://www.sanmateorealestatenews.com/00151F Posted on November 22, 2007 01:58:00 by Lenore Wilkas

It's trite. Everyone says the same thing, that we have much to be thankful for today, yet it is true. We are so lucky to live in San Mateo County where we have generally been spared from the huge real estate losses that other parts of California, Arizona, Michigan, and Florida are experiencing. We live in a county with only so many homes, and not much land left to build new ones on. We pay a price for that for sure, but in doing so, we are fortunate to see our house values hold pretty steady.
