Burlingame Gardens Neighborhood Report

Burlingame Gardens is a cute area just north of Burlingame High School.  This area once housed many of the servants who worked in the estates of Hillsborough.  Like all of Burlingame, the homes are older.  Generally the houses are small, mostly 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and unless totally redone, or sitting on one of three or four streets, this is the lowest priced area in Burlingame.

For Sale this week:

  • $634,000 - on the market 86 days - 2 bedrooms and 1 bath - 930 square feet and 78 years old
  • $768,000 - on the market 162 days - 2 bedrooms and 1 bath - 1160 square feet and 33 years old
  • $1,499,000 - on the market 142 days - 4 bedrooms and 3 baths - 2665 square feet and 27 years old.  Price reduced from $1,695,000

Pending Release this week:

  • $599,000 - on the market 47 days - 2 bedrooms and 1 bath - 1020 square feet and 68 years old.  Price reduced from $818,000,  this is a Short Sale.

There were no other pending sales, sales, withdrawn, canceled or expired listings in this neighborhood.  A Pending Release means the sale is contingent on the buyer selling their current home.  The property is still being shown to other prospective buyers.  If another offer comes in on this property, the buyer will have 72 hours to release the contingency and either exercise the offer or release the offer.  If they release the offer, they do not loose their deposit, it is returned.
